Updates · Build notes

What we’re building, plainly.

What shipped, what changed, what we fixed. Some entries come from the alpha floor; others from the workbench — every one of them honest about where things stand.

October 9, 2026V3.1.2

Debug pass 3: the snap-tile build

  • Removed widget drag-to-resize entirely — dashboard tiles snap to the grid now.
  • Resident Manager “Open chart” falls back to a direct profile fetch instead of failing silently on a cache miss.
  • Form deletion in the assessment builder (admin-only, and blocked while assessments exist on a form).
  • Removed the CareBoard page-level scrollbar — columns scroll internally.
  • New dirty-check diagnostic logging across the save pipeline.
  • Full test suite green: 68/68 v2-q, 36/36 v2-k.
October 9, 2026Website

careoshealth.net is live

  • The CareOS website launches: product tour, security model, roadmap, team introductions, and a walkthrough-request form.
  • Contact requests route straight to the founder’s inbox — no marketing list, no middleman.
October 8, 2026V2.7.0

Offline two-factor authentication

  • TOTP-based 2FA that works with no internet connection, plus printable backup codes.
  • Tiered admin policies for who can require it and where.
  • Passed device acceptance testing the same evening it shipped.
Early October 2026V2.7.1 – V2.7.4

Stress-test hardening run

  • Four rapid releases chasing down everything the stress tests surfaced.
  • Routines rename, PIN authentication for controlled substances, 80 new ICD-10 GI codes, and an Appointments calendar view.
October 6, 2026Alpha

Alpha testing begins

  • CareOS entered alpha testing at a partner residential-care facility, running on the med-cart PC.
  • One tester, real shifts, real feedback — the acceptance gate for every build from here on.
